Riva pro series head ?

Hi, it seems that every time a take the head off the compression o-rings seem scorched on the inside edge, is this normal ? Or are thet getting pinched. If so what can you do to stop it, i already grease them on assembly.

The only thing you can do to help is to recut the squish angle +1 or +2 more degrees and lower the squish ratio to somewhere around 46-48%. My suggestion sell it and buy ADA...I won't use riva's no more for that very problem.

my riva head does the same. its like the rubber is frayed where it contacts the deck of the cylinder. its never caused any problems, but i replace them whenever i remove the head (which isnt often).

Supertune, thanks thats the way i was going, ADA it is then. Where is the best place to get the 760 head and domes?

I have never had it cause an issue
I replace my orings about every 12 months
