Riding in Florida

My wife and I want to check out a couple spots in Florida on our Stand-ups. Would really like to visit somewhere that has a public race course (practice) to ride for a day or two. Or anywhere that has a decent stand up friendly community. Any suggestions to some great spots? We would be primitive camping or grabbing a local airbnb. Fresh water inland preferred NO SALT water. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!!

The chain of lakes in Clermont would be perfect for what you’re looking for. You can spend all day riding from lake to lake or you can set up a buoy course close to the boat ramp. I’m sure you can find somewhere to camp and Airbnb’s won’t be hard to find. There’s a group that rides every Saturday.

Some of the very best riders on the east coast train there. They ride most every weekend, as long as no races are on the schedule
