Ride plate question

I ride only flat water and have been riding with a stock plate for years. The ski I just got has a CF wamiltons plate on it. It is pretty long. What should I do with it? I need a flat water friendly ride plate. I am afraid that the length will just cancel out the trim. So should I..........

1. Sell it
2. Chop it off and cut a "D" or a "U" in it

I dont see how carbon fiber ride plates help....

I cut my stocker... cheap easy....

Sell that baby and buy something usefull

cut it, it depends what you want it for...back flip, barell rolls, recreational freestyle....

I would like to say all the above but I don't see a BF in the near future

And Jaremy rideplate in his "got trim" pictures shows a CF plate that has been chopped and "D"ed
