300/440/550 Ride Plate from 650sx fit a JS?

I think that the 650 hull was differant, I'm not positive on the plate, but I don't think that it will work. I have a stock 550 plate if you need one, let me know.

I am interested. I've seen them on ebay for $10 plus $10 shipping. I just missed a Mariner plate for the same price. Darn IT! I'm located in CT. Let me know what you are looking to get for yours. Thanks.

I'll let you have it for 10 plus whatever actual shipping is. I'll check out shipping cost, and let you know on that. What is your zip?

I think you are talking about porpoising (front of ski bouncing uncontrollable). I have 2 machines, one has the stock ride plate, the other has a west coast ride plate that is about an inch longer than stock. I don't notice much of a difference between them when it comes to porpoising. I think the West Coast plate planes quicker but they both bounce pretty bad until I learned how to ride them. Keep one foot forward, legs bent, and transfer your weight when it start bouncing. Also slow down. The choppier the water, the worse it gets.

I've only ridden 3 js hulls that are really stable at top speed. Two of them(mine) have ocean pro rideplates and the other had a shredmaster. A lot of the time, position in the tray can fix porpoising. My two js hulls with ocean pro plates never porpoise. I can stand anywhere I want on them and the nose stays down.
