Surfriding Ride plate for 01 RN in surf

Location
Stockton
Should I run my flush cut d-cut plate or the extended dominator with traction vent in the surf ? It's an 01 RN with tubbies, -5 poll, blowsion steering plate, limit rope, hooker, b-pipe, ADA head, words 201 intake grate, 4 deg bars. Any help would be appreciated thanks. The rides is 5.10 and weights 195

Hello. My 2 cents:

I ride a stock sn superjet in surf conditions on lake erie. On big days +5 feet you can surf waves. When I turn into the wave I will sink the nose in hard if front foot is far farward and I have to have both feet close to pump. But I like it. Front foot just dances around a lot.

A d cut should keep that from happening and your short pole should theoretically help keep the nose down. The d cut will make the nose pop up.

I think it is worth trying both.

Bottom deck of RN and SN is the same so I thought it's worth letting you know this. Hope that was usefull.
