the g2 intake grate i believe is different than the std xfs.. and the g2 they don't make in carbon core...
so, im guessing you need just an xfs intake grate if yours is Carbon Core...

no the carbon cores have the identical bottom as the g2 and it takes the same intake grate

This is incorrect. The carbon core is the older G1 bottom deck unless special ordered.

It might not be identical bottom then but for sure the same pump tunnel and takes the same intake grate

Again not necessarily correct. The G2 pump tunnel is oval shaped where the G1/carbon core tunnel is more rectangular in the opening on the bottom of the deck. They both use a +2 intake grate. I have a 2020 carbon core, looked into making my own intake grate but it was just more time efficient to buy the carbon one from rrp. A +2 JD intake grate I am told will fit.

Correct as in the bottoms are not the same. It does take the g2 carbon intake grate tho. So either way I’m still paying $519 ♂️♂️
