SOLD Rickter Edge FR Visual Carbon

As much as this absolutely kills me, the ski is going up for sale. Some major life/career changes have hit me square in the face and I have to part with most of my toys for the time being. The ones that can be replaced are going... Its the time in my life where people either risk it all, or stay complacent and I'm choosing to go for it. Part of that means selling off some of my stuff that's paid for and lowering the debt of my household so the pressure isn't there every single month. Since skis are normally paid for, they are the first to come and go. But I built this ski with the intentions of never ever selling it and not having to worry about it. I have ridden it three times since I built it for Daytona. I will try my best to list everything the ski has, and the condition I got it in. You can not purchase the hull and parts for my asking price, much less the countless hours myself and others have into making this ski perfect... I assembled the ski and it was tuned to perfection by LPW. Ski is located just outside of Atlanta and I would be happy to ship anywhere in the States or you can come here and we can go ride the ski at the lake before you take it home. Ski runs perfect and is ready to ride.

This is a Hell of a deal for someone!
Little about the motor, Being that the boat was going to be a “Keeper” , I took my time with detail work, much like I would have done on a compition setup. Robbie has built several motors now thru me, so I wanted him to have something special. The spec of this, is what I used to build when I supported a team of riders. This boat runs Great!
Besides the motor port work, the manifold and headpipe are fully port matched to this motor. Many of the parts on this build were also purchased New thru me. Back in the spring, I personally lake tuned it. Its Spot on!
Good Luck with Sale ! And More importantly, Best of luck with your new Business Venture! Happy to build you another one when your ready!

Ski ya, Paul

Thanks Paul... you know for a fact I had no intentions of selling this one. You know a little bit about what's going on. So thanks for the support. I have to have a few stars align to make it happen... but I am seriously to the point to where I thought about doing some bad things man. I literally care about nothing else besides getting my time back to myself and my family at this very moment. In the past two years I've put prob 10 hours MAX on this ski, and 3.8 hours on my runabout. Toys are no fun if you don't have time to play. I love this sport.... sadly the bad part is I usually only end up building skis instead of riding them.

You are making the right choice. Take it from someone that has been in the same job for 25 years and has hated every second of it, but it pays the bills. At this point in my life (post-divorce with HUGE alimony payments and a remortgaged house)there is no way I could afford to start over or I'd lose everything I have left. So, I'll be stuck in this job until I'm taking a long dirt nap. Do it while you can, son. Trust me.

At 220 PSI what are you running for fuel?

The ski is so fuel efficient (blows my mind) so I just run straight race fuel. I believe it's a 110 octane, it's out of a pump at a gas station close to my work. I can run a weekend in the waves on less than 10 gal of fuel. Plus, I don't have to worry about ethanol issues. I fill up the fuel tank in the ski, and take a 5 gal pail with me and I usually bring fuel back with me. Compression, porting, and a lot of timing with the correct fuel REALLY wakes up a engine.

I’ve ridden this ski and it rips!!! Buy with confidence people. Robby is a great person and his stuff is clean and put together right!! Good luck with your sale.

I'm curious and/or clarifying... is there a reason you chose 61X vs 62T cases?

The x/x setup has a better response at the cc level (opinion) As where the t case is a better platform for a wide open runs or huge cc numbers in my opinion. Paul and myself have built numerous of these, and the intake, reeds, x/x is the package I go to every time. I compare mine to comparable setups on x/t and I always like the x/x.

When done right, at 61X motor will work really well. For his setup, he built this for surf riding, you do not need a monster motor unless your Gomez, Brandon Lawler, Brights, Where you are in competitions and when you might need to grab a god awful amount of power for the big wave tricks........... This motors makes great low to mid power.......
