The Dales' pole doesn't look as bad in person, but its still ugly IMO. I think that design would look way better on the superjet. The SXR is too big for such a skinny pole. The SJ has better proportions for it IMO. Too bad they don't make one for the SJ.

most freestyle ride with a tight pole correct . And racers run with a spring so its a light feel and they dont have to hold the pole for all the laps . if you have a heavy pole for racing you will fatigue alot faster having to lift the pole all the time . where freestyle for one you have two minutes and do a handfull of tricks so it is not as much an importance plus if you have it cranked down it should hold itself . the spring will not hold the the rrp pole you still have to assist alot more than any other pole . all in all you want the lightest and the strongest obviously . when your talking the weight of the pole yes freestyle want a light weight boat boat you will only notice it in total weight of the boat . racing you will be lifting the pole weight .

well yeah, obviously in racing without the bolt tightened down your lifting the pole, but that doesnt mean you want it heavy as you said in your other post. A spring DOES hold an rrp pole too.

you think so i would disagree but i never said any one wants it heavy . it almost any sport light is usually better . compare a umi pole to rrp the feel is much much light with umi . i am pro rrp after all i helped with him to get the pole developed and the main reason for it is adjustability not to be the lightest and it was originally designed for freestyle but turns out the racer market is bigger .also if you notice rrp will lay on the hood or real close and the umi are always standing up
