Super Jet REV enclosed foothold install ?'s

Anyone have any advice on the waterdawg rev enclosed foothold install? I have searched and been able to find the install instruction on their website but nothing for the enclosed holds. There is the mold for the standard foothold then another piece to create the enclosed. Any help would be great!

Skip the enclosure, it's not worth the extra work and a pain to turf.

Damn I was all excited for a contained foothold! My tray is completely ripped apart if that makes a difference for the work involved

From what I can remember, you install the footholds as usual (like any other foothold) and then install the enclosure panel to that (using rivets to hold it to the tray/foothold and fiberglass to bond it together).

Yeah that's what it looks like but they don't sit well together that's the primary issue. I'll mount the hold then see what happens

When I installed the footholds I cut the top portion off to match up with the SJ tray better, I also cut a decent amount of the back portion off to make for a wider tray behind the foothold.
I don't have many pictures, it's been 10 years since I installed a set, this is without the enclosures.

Thank you! I already widened my tray area so I may have to cut the foothold I will see after foaming

Likely, I seem to remember that, with the stock width tray, the inside portion of the foothold was nearly touching the outside panel of the hull.

I had these in my SJ for one season and then took them out and installed Trinity holds. I really didn't notice the enclosures when I was using them, but I didn't try it without them. The worst part was getting the turf to look good around the enclosure.
