What effect would running resistor plugs with 5kohm resistor boots have on OEM ignition?

If you apply ohms law you will get less voltage at the plug, you do however need a resistor somewhere for noise suppression.

i have digital nology wires and run non resistor plugs. Not sure where or if they have the resistors in the caps but they are meant for running non resistor plugs with my sensitive digital ignition.

Is a stock OEM coil and stock plug boots resistored?

when i bought my waveblaster a few yers ago it was in the winter time did not try ski , first ride it rode like it had the stock resistor boots with resistor plugs it was not good just by chance i used non resistor plugs and it ran great afterwards, dont run both , resistor boots with non resisitor plugs or restors plugs with non resitor boots
