Replace 61x with 62T

Hey guys, I have a bad 61x engine and am getting a 62T from my buddy in WI. I was wondering what all i need to pull out the 61x and drop the 62T. As in what extras are required to do a total swap.

Is the electrical all the same?

Will the exhust mount up?

What will i gain with the 62T over a 61X???? advantages in HP top end and low end???

electrical will bolt up, exhaust will bolt up, everything will swap over but intake, advantage is about 10hp more in the T case, bottom end is similar in the stock ones i've ridden

62T motor will have more hit off the bottom. the difference in mid to top is almost un-noticable assuming your comparing two motors with similar mods. i had a 62T motor w/ daul 44's ported,head, pipe...the usual, blew it up and dropped in a stock 61X w/ pipe and head and found the at only lost bottom end. Prop selection makes a big difference to. try a skat 12/17 or a solas 12/15 cutback
