I used Crashburn's vice method and was surprised with an easy coupler that didn't even need any heat to break loose. This was a minty 650 crank that I am using to replace the not so minty 62T crank that came with the motor I bought last year. I am still not happy about having to replace the crank, but the swap is giving me insurance of tight clean crank, new OEM seals, and saving me a surprising 1.5 lbs. of rotating mass!
