Custom/Hybrid reinforcement quest?? glass bubbles or microballons???

hi, looking for help,, i am reinforcing a superjet,, i shaved out the factory ribs, now i plan on filling the bond seam with resin and ???? should i uses the 3m glass bubbles, or the microballons??? someone said one was for small cracks, and one was for large???? thanks in advance...

why not both? i do a mix of cabosil and micro ballons just for good measure.

You're only filling the gap, so use the micro baloons. Much easier to sand.

I myself would pour foam then cut it off smooth.

I would fill it with whatever you want then lay your reinforcement while it's still wet so you can conform everything really well. I did that on mine and it worked well.

X-2 thats the best way i have found to do it wet.

I was reparing a hood, and if I remember right wammer told me to use the microballoons and milled fibers mixed together....I know the hood was bombproof after that (used it to glue the liner back into the shell)
