Grinding the ribs is the easiest part by far. I'm going through it now. Use a grinder, and a palm sander, or sand paper and a sanding block. Every rib will be gone in 30 minutes and sanded smooth.

use the West system 404 to fill the bond line....you can do a layer of 12 or 17 oz. biax for rienforce and layer of carb. west system has the resin/hardener/filler for about $120

Do it twice?That's DooDoo
get US composites stuff from their website.... cheaper than west system stuff and will result in the same outcome.... definately get the gallon size, and get the fast hardener if you will be working in colder weather. For filling the bondline I used aerosil/cabosil.... this is what most people use. You can buy everything you need for ALL reinforcing at US Composites... one-stop-shopping --> I like

Some people use 2 part foam to fill the bondline. My last 3 builds however I used 404 filler to fill the bondline. The 45oz size of the 404 filler and 1 gallon of 3:1 epoxy is PLENTY.
