Super Jet Reinforcement for flat water on a square nose?

I learned everything I know, including rolls, on a stock SN hull, no reinforcement. Honest truth. The hood has gel coat coming off all over, and quite a few stress cracks, the sides and tray is perfect still. I have thrown it many times from 5+ ft up

For surf I'd definitely reinforce.

Edit; I'm actually pretty sure it's just paint on the hood? It hasn't cracked off, more as t has worn off

Well that's good to know! With everyone seeming to want to reinforce right away it made it seen like they were incredibly weak. I guess I'll just see how the ski comes along and if I have a good but of spare time I may just knock it out.
