Super Jet Reinforcement for flat water on a square nose?

The motor will be out of my ski for rebuilding, and was contemplating the idea of reinforcing it. But 1 I don't want to add anymore weight then necessary and 2 don't want to fool with all the sanding a prep etc if it's not worth it. My ski will be strictly ridden on lakes, for flat water and yacht chasing and doubt it will ever see surf. Is reinforcing needed or recommended for lake skis for what little flat water freestyle I could get out of it. I don't know how weak the top decks really are, and figure now is my chance since the motor is out...

and the pole bracket area. In that vid he says that he has one SN with a crack in that area already and decided to reinforce it on the ski he was working on in the vid. that seems to be a weak point on SN

I ride flatwater, jump some pretty decent wakes, and will be working on rolls this year too. Possibly hitting up lake michigan surf a few times too. I have the same 95 square as you.
I'm reinforcing absolutely everything. I'm doing the hood mod, and I'll be laying some 1-2 layers of 1208 biax on each side so it barely has any flex. In the rear tray inner gunwales, I'm either doing one of the two: strip of 1208 biax from the top of the gunwale to the bondline, and then a full strip from the top of the gunwale down to the bottom of the hull. Or I'm doing just a full two layers of 1208 biax. The top deck needs much more reinforcement than the bottom deck. I'll do that same thing in the engine bay. Either the 2 layers of 1 1/2 layer of 1208.
I'm also going to put quite a few layers on the pole mount, probably at least 2+ of 1208. Got some 1708 I might use on that. More crucial is you're running a tight pole, because with a tight pole it'll flex like crazy.

When I bought my ski the bottom was a little rough from being beached the last 20 years and I managed to crack it about 10 inches one day after pancaking. You might want to reinforce if it is showing signs of wear.

No signs of wear, when I got my ski I found it mint in an old mans basement with the factory cover on it..bought it for his kids in 94 and they hated it, so it sat in his basement until fall of last year..so not worn or beat on hard at all...but just wasn't sure how weak the top deck really was.

I learned everything I know, including rolls, on a stock SN hull, no reinforcement. Honest truth. The hood has gel coat coming off all over, and quite a few stress cracks, the sides and tray is perfect still. I have thrown it many times from 5+ ft up

For surf I'd definitely reinforce.

Edit; I'm actually pretty sure it's just paint on the hood? It hasn't cracked off, more as t has worn off
