not having the registration on your ski (paper) is no longer a traffic offense (like speeding) but rather a misdemeanor that results in arrest.

That's what the Whitman County Sheriff's Deputy Mr Justice told me in person, a little less than a year ago.

I told him the registration was in my truck, and I could go get it. He said I had to have it on the boat. I got one of the waterproof match containers for camping now.

They didn't fight the no title ticket. They just paid it. I think it was BS. It said something about improper documentation on the ticket. It's not like somebody is going to steal a houseboat, and go park in a cove. Why would you need the title with you????

I leave the title to my car in the glove box. That way when the car is stolen, they can just sign it over to themselves...... wait :banghead:
