what is this. is this reed stuffers?
i went to open up my intake to se if my reeds where bad.
found out my reeds where good and that i had carbon reeds. nice.
and also had those red things.
reason i looked over my reeds where cause it´s very power less on the bottom range.
could the reed stuffers cause a significant power loss.
the throttle response feels like it´s there but the power isn´t.
trying to get the ski to run hard this summer. ran slow last summer.
engine:
62t/61x
ada head 37cc 170psi on both
stock carbs, no chokes, carbon reeds.
coffman sizzler pipe.
EPIC ignition.
worx grate
hooker 9/15 prop
atp pumpcone
if thats not the problem what could it be.
when i changed heads i had no carbon build up on the piston tops. so the wash tells me it´s realy fat jetted. but i´m jetted just above stock with a pipe so i shouldnt be fat.
i have tried all popoff springs with new 1,5n/s to no sucsess. it cant be an air leak cause then it should run lean? and have no piston wash.
