LOL... Actually the reed stuffers have a simple role, to "smooth" the intake charge. They help eliminate turbulance just aft of the intake manifold. Without 'stuffers, a negative pressure area develops which hampers proper flow...

Better throttle response,, prolly no top end gain..

Wax, what kind were you using when you tested them and what year was it?

r&d reed stuffers
it was 3 years ago and also 2 years ago ina nother ski i built for some guy
he already had them in there and i took them out for him
he was very happy with the result
hence my confusion to your results

not to say you are wrong only that i would not run them in any customers boats ever
