Super Jet Reed spacer gasket question

I'm going to run a reed spacer but do you re-install the metal backing plate that was there before, the one between the case and manifold? About to hit the parts store and was wondering.

As long as you have the crossover tube filled on the OEM manifold. If you have a aftermarket manifold then you dont need the alum block off plate.
I do have the reed spacer gasket in stock as well as the intake gaskets also if you need them.

No, but youll still need to run the thin alum OEM block off plate then. That is what the OP is asking.

X2 exactly what the instructions with the ATP spacer say, keep everything OEM and add the spacer
