reed spacer and exhaust tube interference

I put a reed spacer on my superjet and now the carbs will not clear the exhaust tube with the pumps pointed inward. I can't turn the carbs around because of the throttle wheel. Has anyone had this happen before?

I have the spacer in so that the reeds angle upward into the cases. Did I put it in upsidedown?

yup it touches exhaust ose.... no bigge jsut watch it dosen trub hole in it....

bolt em on and ride !!!!

anyone else? I'm thinking of getting a single carb diaphram mounted throttle cable holder so I can run the carbs pump side out.

mine rubs a little too. I loosen the clamp on the long exhaust tube then wiggled it a bit to help set it at an angle. It still rubs, but just barely.
