reed question (dont laugh)

i have aftermarket reeds on my ski - dont know what brand but they look like carbon fiber- and one petal is not seating on the stop (about 1 mm space)

my question is can i just flip it around so the bend is facing down causing it to seat better.

just wondering.

oh and what is the result of just pretending i didnt notice and leaving it as is.

the ski had a noticeble bog on the bottom......are the two related?

i have herd of people just flipping them over I don't see what it would hurt also I don't think that would cause a bog unless it was missing ??:biggthumpup:

thanks for the replies.

you know how some things, when bent one way then the other, become brittle.
just didnt want it to break off or anything.

i'll probably just flip it and see what happens.
