I recently installed a solas mag pump into my topdeck conversion. During the installation I realized my 9/15 Hooker was flared at the stator. Trying to save money I took a torch to it and bent it back making it considerably tighter to the stator. Since the installation I managed to break my 61x Reduction Nozzle. I managed to pick one up locally but when it arrived it turned out to be bored to 87mm, while my existing was 82mm.
My options now are to run the 87mm, or steal a 84mm from my SN. Is 87mm even safe to run? I believe #Zero bores his out to 85.5mm, but this one doesn't seem to have much meat left...
I am leaving for a week long vacation on a small lake attached to Lake Ontario. I will be bringing both nozzles (84 and 87) but would appreicate feedback on the 87 before I depart. I try to avoid wrenching on holidays at all costs.
My setup
-3" Cutback topdeck conversion
701 62T/61X
B Pipe Limited chamber
ADA Head 175psi
Hooker 9/15
144mm Solas Mag
Solas Stubby cone
ATP Turn Nozzle
