Recutting head domes

I have a brand new head that I want to use but it has 6m6 domes in it,the head has removable domes I am not sure of the mfg of this head, I want to know who I can send these to to have them recut to fit a 701 or possibly a 760 engine.I will post pics later.

i have a riva 701 head with non removable domes and i took it to a machinist to see if he could make it removeable... anyway he said no but he could re-cut the domes for lower comp.

If the domes are removable any machine should be able to turn the squish area in a lathe to the bore size and height.

Do you know what cc's the domes are now?

I will have to look but I don't trust these machine shops around here to do anything,I would rather send it to someone who knows whats up.I have a great cylinder boring guy but thats it around here.

This head was sold through Yamaha,it came with a Yamaha part # on it and has Yamaha and 28 650 stamped on the domes also ,the domes are 28cc.The part # on the head is MWVEW2HD

those yamaha heads were made by westcoast back in the day im 99% sure i have some domes lying around
