Super Jet rebuilt superjet

so its finally done. it took along time do to life and the rainy weather.(had to ride motorcycles when conditions are good and wifes pregnant and didnt want me to spend money). i took my beat 01 superjet and did a mild little build on a budget. bought a lowered hood, nose piece and pole mount from stanton. (thanks stan). main goal was to reinforce and paint and fix the cracks, fix pump bearings, and kinda just fix this p.o.s. so i learned alote about reinforcing as far as the right ratio. first mix was to thin. so wasted alittle there. i did the nose, pole mount and side bond line from front to back. the nose was radiated so glassed for like 8-9 days after work in the cold. i used 17 oz biax with epoxy resin and micro ballons.( thanks us composites) had to reinforce the tray because it was cracked. and also glassed in some stainless nut plates for foot strapes because i hate my footholds. painted with a red that looked good. i used applience epoxy paint for the bottom.. also had group k do the head with girdle kit and dual cooling, lightened flywheel at home on the lathe, had protec do the ignition, b-pipe, prop, umi pole and here shortly going to have the cylinder ported along with the carbs. im sure theres some thing i forgot and some thing that i should've done but didnt. oh well its going to be my wifes ski eventually and i'll build another one next year.Shannon's Phone Pics 011.jpgShannon's Phone Pics 007.jpgShannon's Phone Pics 061.jpgShannon's Phone Pics 047.jpgShannon's Phone Pics 043.jpgShannon's Phone Pics 086.jpgShannon's Phone Pics 053.jpgShannon's Phone Pics 097.jpgShannon's Phone Pics 100.jpgShannon's Phone Pics 099.jpg
