Other rebuilt 701 62T motor & carbs, protec pipe, one carb running lean, is this normal?

Hi all,
I'm new to site
I have searched for an answer to my question but no luck so far.
Please help!

Need to see if this is normal, or if my carbs maybe need replacing.

I just had my 701 62T motor rebuilt for my 94 waveraider.
2mm oversized Pro-X Pistons, cylinders bored to suit.
New ADA head with 35cc domes
Rebuilt crankshaft with new crank seals.
New V-Force II Reeds / R&D spacer
My old Protec Pipe refitted using new gasket.
Re-kitted taper bored 38mm dual Mikuni's on stock intake with
TAU CETI PRO SERIES FLAME ARRESTORS
all gaskets replaced in engine.
all work done professionally

After starting up, found rear cylinder running very lean.
Believing since new gaskets fitted all around that no air leaks should
be present, and since carbs rebuilt also, we ended up replacing the coil
with significant improvement, but still seeing a slight difference,
so rear carb running a slightly richer mix.

Wondering if this is normal and if others have found similiar problem when
using a protec pipe. When you look at intake pipe, main pipe exits from front cylinder,
with rear cylinder joining this pipe via a sort of "T" section type arrangement.

So I'm wondering if this geometry is stealing extra fuel/air from rear cylinder,
a fault in the design.

If not does anyone have any suggestions? Otherwise I'm assuming I'm looking at new carbs as
there must be a slight fault which wasn't fixed when they were overhauled.

Thoughts anyone?

from a non-jetski stand point...if all the work was professionally done and set up. then you might want to ask your engine builder/ski mechanic what is going on and he should probably fix it since you paid him to set up your ski.
