while waiting for fiberglass and resin to dry for my trim, decided to paint my motor since is was out to put the timing advance plate in.. what u guys think? (painted the stock head till i can afford my ADA one...)
powder coating is the way to go but youll hav to beak the motor down, powder coating is the way to go but it is plastic based , i dont know how salt water will affect it but i love the color , keep rocking
I think it cost me about $350 but as jetskier23 mentioned you have to break everything down as each piece needs to be clean and free of and fuel or oil as the parts are placed in some sort of oven. There are pics on my build thread of each piece that was powder coated.
If repainted becomes a pain, then the next time you tear down your motor get it powder coated.
