Super Jet RCJS "Tri-Scoop" intake grate for SJ

Does anyone have any experience running this intake grate?

I took my stock SJ out and realized it had quite the issue hooking up with the OEM grate....

Johns a great guy, I really like the idea of sporting someone whos working hard to keep this sport alive, fun, and affordable. His price is MUCH more attractive than other brands and I am wondering if its worth the extra $50-$100 for other brands.


From what I read here the Worx 201 is the king of SJ grates..... the design looks awfully similar to RCJS.... is it worth the extra $100 for a new Worx 201?

How do you like the RCJS grate? Hookup? Drag? Im just using it at a local lake so I dont need anything too aggressive.

I had one on my 550 and I loved it compaired to a old westcoast, but I also have a deep scoop on my SN and love it too, I think it depends on how agresive you want the hookup to be. The RCJS isnt as harsh

How harsh is the Worx 201 in comparison?

The rcjs isn't as deep as the worxs if you look at it, the rcjs scoops go only a bit into the pump area, the worxs is very deep in there and will stay locked in more. I love my worxs, but it came with the ski, on my 550 the rcjs grate for $50 new was a good deal and worked great.
