Random hose

Hey guys I'm trying to get the 95 WB1 I got running again so I was replacing the gas lines (I know not the problem) and came across this one that's not connected to anything. I was hoping you guys could let me know what it should be attached to? I was hoping to get it on the water if it'll stay running. I've got a carb rebuild planned for tomorrow to try and fix that problem.

I looked at a few diagrams but just can't tell where it needs to go. Its got the orange circle on it. I removed the cover on the coupler to make the picture clearer. It's my first time really working on a ski trying to learn how to do all this stuff.

that's for greasing the bearing housing that it is attached to. it should have a zerk fitting on the other end which normally mounts to the rear of the engine somewhere on the side opposite the exhaust.

Ok so that is the grease hose I saw on the diagram. I'll go look and see if I can find the zerk fitting.

Possibly a stupid question but since there is no zerk fitting currently attached do I need to add one? Or is there one that I am just missing? The engine is actually a 93 not a 95 like the hull.

should be one at the end of the hose (mounts usually on the intake manifold). Its necessary for maintenance to grease it up.

Ok well I'll have to check again to see if I missed it or what. I'll probably just buy a new fitting so I can grease the bearings.
