Would it be wise to run one of the 3 water injection points constantly flowing and use ecwi on the others. If it helps preserve the motor I would accept the slight loss of rpm

Also does anyone have a source for couplers for this pipe that is better than oe? The best option I have found is hps silicone. It is 4.25x2.5" closest they have is 4.25x3. what is the best way to cut one down to size?

What is your definition of slight loss of rpm? You will loose RPM period. If I was racing you I would say sure leave on the water....
You mentioned preserve the motor: Yamaha twins do need bearings changed periodically if you run them hard at 7600-7700.
Keep the water on and will never see 7700

I'll leave it as is with full ecwi. Not racing this year unfortunately so I have the time to adjust the ski. Haven't really had a lot of experience with this exhaust yet.

Ok I have one more question. Is it a bad idea to mount the water injection solenoid where r&d had intended, on the Lord mount bracket? I know engine vibration isn't good for the solenoid, but is it really that big of a deal?

I had been using a plate I made that attaches to ebox studs to mount ecwi, but it makes that area very cluttered and difficult to work around.

I have another bracket I could use to hold the water controller that hangs off the bond rail near the battery which is why I asked about putting the solenoid where r&d had intended.

Also could make a gas tank bracket, just would take more time i don't really have to spare.
