What are the 2 black hooks on the underside of the square nose hood for? Ive searched everywhere and cant figure it out.

Holds the fire extinguisher.

I thought that but on my square its strapped to the dash and it doesnt fit well in the hood hooks. Seems like it would fall out while riding. Why would there be two locations for it?

One of the SN I bought didn't have the case in the tray.
Took off the hood and it was in those2 hooks not on a case.
Just extinguisher.

It's for the yellow stock storage container - the extinguisher goes in the black case on the dash, the yellow container goes under the hood with the two straps for storage. I removed my under hood container years ago to make room for an after market flame arrestor. I still have it somewhere in the garage. I used to keep my registration in there in a laminate.

Yeah...it's just a storage container. I keep my reg, sun block, and a hat in mine.
