i'm almost done with my first turf job and ended up with just a few seams (really it turned out much better than I thought it would). I went around wcf's and up over the rails of my sxr with black molded diamond. Can I caulk the seams with black caulk or will that still look like chit? any special caulk i should buy? thanks.

yes you can. Put masking tape (does not matter if it the blue or white - I prefer the blue painters tape) at each seam, caulk the seams, then spray some WD40 on your finger, pipe up the excess, this will give you a smooth caulk joint, you can do this at the top as well where the turf meets the hull.

has anyone found a good caulk to use with the grey hydroturf?
i have found only one that come close color wise but i don't care for it , seem to inflexable and cracks and pulls away from the turf

i was told to use the 100% silicone, as oppose to the caulk..though i was trying to prevent water from splashing on my azz from the plastic corner pieces...

im gonna try the black silicone and see how that works on the edges.

Speak up ,don't kiss azz
I use the black rubber based super glue for the black ,you don't actually need to fill in the whole gap but just color underneath black so you can't tell it's cut short .Works great .
I got plenty of caulk on my ski with just me on it :bigok:
