Pumps are roughly the same for all years. The Exit nozzles were plastic in the first three years, and I believe the fitting for the factory bilge is a little different.
Any year SJ pump should fit in any year SJ.

if you can try not to pick one up from the early years, the stock siphon bilge runs from the stator section of the pump so there is roughly a 5/8" hole in that section for the bilge it's not hard to block off, but it will take away some power if you dont know about it and leave it open. Also the older pumps dont have the second boss if you wanted to drill the pump and tap it for daul cooling.

How would you reduce the stock bilge fitting and what size would you reduce it to???? I have a '92 superjet and I'm wondering how much smaller I should make that fitting????

x2 all years fit, just midshaft is diff from 90-93:biggrin:

my 93 has the casting for dual cooling and plastic reduction nozzle, cannot speak for any older though

It's hard becuase the metal in the walls of that bilge fitting on the pump are so thin that you'll crack it trying to thread into, i did it before.

Epoxy in a pre-threaded plug or have an aluminum plug welded in.

I successfully "press fit" a plug in one once but as stated above the casting is thin and I was worried about it cracking down the side.

So IF I epoxied in a fitting what is the size of the hole that would be still allowing water to pass? I would like to keep the stock bilge system working for now so I'm not planning on completely eliminating the bilge siphon source.

How big is the hole on later model superjets?

Anyone know the inside diameter of the hole in the pump of a later model superjet that the stock siphon bilge operates from? ???? approximate?

Or, does anyone know what group K does to the older style pump stator to modify it for less pressure loss????
