Super Jet Quick Problem

Now that I have gotten one problem fixed another issue has arose with my 92 SN. I have looked around and haven't found anything and also ask friends and they are stumped. Here is what is going on:

-No spark when the black and white (Kill Switch) wires are hooked up.
-Unhook the kill switch plug and I have spark.
-Replaced whole switch with a friends and still does the same thing
-Cut plug and strait wire to wire connection
-Reversed wires and still does the same thing

Question: Where does the white wire go to in the E-Box? I know the black is grounded but I am guessing whatever the white wire goes to needs to be replaced.

Let me know what you all think. We are going to have 90's soon here so just trying to figure this out so I can get back on the water.

Thank you everyone for their help in advance!

according to my Clymer's manual, the white goes to the CDI. i've had one go out on my 90SN about 10 years ago but don't remember if it affected the start/stop button...

had been riding for a couple of hours and then in the late afternoon the ski just died while cruising, no warning or anything, like the landyard got pulled. i wasn't that good at troubleshooting back then, but i do remember that i couldn't get it to turn over to check spark, even though all the buttons/switched ohm'd out good. i took a chance an ordered a new CDI and got lucky that was my problem. if you unplugged the kill switch and get spark, maybe a wire is pinched somewhere...turnplate? handle pole? stator assy behind the flywheel? e-box?

Id try a new CDI, I am ususally not one to throw money at the problem but you usually can pick a used one on here or ebay for a decent price.
