650/X-2 Quick cooling question, I SEARCHED

Location

I have my cooling lines ran right, except the one that goes into the bottom of the intake manifold. I know it is supposed to run from the pump, however, my pump has 2 fittings on it, how do I know which one is going to push the water up? Does it matter which one it goes on?

If your pump has two fittings on it then it was set up for dual cooling. IF the metal part of the pump has one fitting and the plastic nozzle has one fitting on it that attaches to your hull then it is a single cooling. The fitting on the plastic nozzle is for your stock bilge pump to drain the water out of the hull when moving.

Any fitting on the pump that points directly into the pump is a cooling fitting. If you have 2, then you have a pump set up for dual cooling.

The fitting on the reduction nozzle point backwards. It is not a cooling fitting. It is the stock siphon venturi. If you hook up to that, you'd be removing water from your motor. No good.
