quick advise xl700 engine same as in SJ ?

I have an option to pick up some 2000 XL 700 complete engines, is this the same engine that is run in the SJ ?

In other words I could throw BB's on top ??

No it is not.
It has the 62T 701 topend, with different porting.
You'll have less bottom end.

This is correct ,the cylinders have the 10x1.25 size exhaust bolts also

Also, using the stock 62T head, the stock superjet exhaust will not bolt up.

I can replace the top end with 61x BB or 61x Otherwise correct ?

Yes, absolutely.
You can make the topend work, too.

no rentals, some guy had them as project and never got arround to complete them...Lake Tahoe does not allow 2 stroke's therefore cant be rentals anyway

I am mostly interested in the cases and some electrical stuff...
