Whats the difference in motors between a 80'-85' 550 motor vs 86'-89' 550 motor? I know on the hulls the exhaust outlet is different but is there any motor differences?

Exhaust pipe different(jetpower...better) 44mm carb.(38isbetter)cly. Is different(exh.width) head dome is different.. flywheel is diff(less timing)...pistons have "thin ring" less heat...... ;-)
