Question on trim

I have the opportunity to buy a Pro Tec trim system. I currently have the tray open in my ski. Just wondering what kind of tube I need and how to install everything.

Thanks

you dont need the tray open to install a trim tube but i use a long drill bit and either 3/8 copper tubing or aluminum tubing.i have seen one of the water lines used as the trim tubes and the bilge eliminated and used for cooling. depending on where you need the tube. if you are putting a backflip nozzle setup on a SJ, its a waste of time. if you got the tray open, put another tube in there the same way the other tubes are in there.

Do not put a copper tube in your tray! That's the dumbest thing I've read this morning!
Onlinemetals.com and order a stainless tube. Thinnest wall they have with an ID to clear your cable ends would be ideal. Another aluminum tube in the tray is another thing that can corrode...

Alright I'll be sure to go with a stainless tube. I already have the tray open for deforming so it should be a little easier to install. I plan on learning flips behind boat wakes and just thought a trim system would make it a little easier to get the ski around.
