300/440/550 question on hose hook up

i have an 87 kawasaki js550 and i wanted to run the jet ski in my driveway..i dont know if you can hook up a hose to it. if so, could you tell me how. pictures are great

here is how mine was hooked up when i bought it. its the blue hose sticking up

I think the best way is to tee into the water inlet hose coming from the pump to the engine, go to Lowes and get a tee with hose barbs that match your cooling hose, and a threaded connection that you can adapt a whater hose connection to, the general rule of thumb is to start the ski, then turn on the water hose, but only run for minute or 2 at the max, then turn off water, the blip it few times to blow the water out of the muffler, make sure you cap off the hose connection, so it doesent fill up the bilge,
