No.

64X is a 760.
62T is a designation for dual carb 701 cases and also for a 701 cylinder with certain port timing and sleeves.
61X is a designation for single carb 701 cases and also for a 701 cylinder with different port timing and thinner sleeves.

Now I'll throw another monkey wrench in. CARBS I'm machining myself a dual carb manifold for my 6m6 motor. Should I try dual SBN38's, or go big, with dual 44's ??

AND, would a 701 stock pipe potentially give any gains on a 650? opinions?

i have also been reading about peaple mixing them up, 61x bottom with 62t cylinders am i right? if so what gains you get with this?

Well the prefered combo for freestyle is the 61x cylinder, with 62t cases. The port timing ot this cylinder combined with the flow of the cases makes good power, and gives more options for carbs.

The 61x cases with 62t cylinder motors are getting built up with leftover parts. ( more or less ) They work, just not as good.

another question. what would be better, 62t bored useing the 650 electronics with the rev limiiter fixed, or finding a 64x and it's electronics and stuffing them in the superjet? are there big differences?

i'll keep that in mined thanks, so the performance between that setup(61xcylinder/62tcase) and a 64x would be what?

Any of these combinations can be made to work. It just depends on what you want, and how much work/$$ you're willing to spend to get it. If money is tight, get what you can afford have and maintain. If $$ is coming out the wazoo, go big and get it ported by a pro.
