Question about racing IJSBA

I know numbers 1-100 are earned numbers. Do all other riders change their numbers every year? Do me and my son have to wait until the beginning of the year to pick ours or can we call and reserve our 2010 numbers now? Next year will be our first year racing... Thanks in advance.

no you don't change your numbers every year.... i have had the same one since i started racing..... if two people by chance show up with the same number, the person who registers first keeps the number and the second person needs to put a letter or something after it......
