question about installing reeds...

So I've decided to spend my saturday night installing some new Carbon Tech LT reeds and rejetting my carbs. :Banane01:

I know this is very common, but the screws at the bottom of the reed cages are very rusty. I really don't think I will be able to reuse them.

Where can you find those tiny screws in stainless steel?

Are the stock ones even stainless?

Would you all recommend an aftermarket set of cages or can I get by with the stock cages?

Thanks:biggthumpup:

Whatever you do, make sure those screws are tight. I went through a topend a few months back because of one of those screws.

Locktite 242 blue is your friend. Use it wisely and get em snug. I have never had any problems, but a friend of mine had one back out because he did not use any threadlocker. Luckily we caught it before it came loose.
