Question about 44mm Mikuni on 650sx

Has anyone installed a 44mm Mikuni SBN on a Kawasaki 650sx? I have the manifold and carb in position, but the problem is the throttle cable does not match up and before I get into the beer and start alkie-engineering...I wanted to see if anyone else has done this......any advice or suggestions?

i had one, had to weld up a custom bracket for it.

Thanks for the response guys.........I got it figured out.....I was just worried about pinch on the throttle cable by the gas tank but as it turns out .....it works.......now if I can just figure out why it does not start.......compression is 151/155........got spark.......new pjs stator......swapped coils........gas in carbs.....guess I am going to try checking the stator circuit......time to buy a compressor and impact wrench....getting really hard to do without......

Any suggestions on why it won't start?

Hey Michael, I looking to install my 44 SBN in my 650sx. Did you use the factory throttle cable when you converted? I bought the special SBN bracket, but haven't attempted to put it on yet.
