Pvc Stand

Geez why dont you buy the superduper instructions on ebay for a stand??

LOL

Seriously though I use my shop stand and it works good in the water. Somewhere on the web is a good instruction on how to make one out of pvc. I cant remember where, but Im sure some one will link it.

Oh and they look just like the ones on ebay that you have to pay for.

It doent take much (size) if its a water stand. Mine is 12" across by 30" so it fits in the trailer storage bin. Turf it, make the legs about 4'' longer on one end so it sits flat on the beach incline, and drill holes for air release. Lou

Mine was 38" long (fit perfect over my trailer tool box), 12" wide on center and 18" high (1" lower than my trailer bunks).
I used some drain clean out fittings on the ends of the legs so that I could screw in end-caps with wheels for when it was used as a shop stand on different length legs.
Worked well for a while but just last weekend it broke when I was beaching my ski onto it.

Now it's just a pile of junk.

I make mine about 4-inches tall, perfect for use around here ( Arkansas) for the rocky shores Im beaching on.

One caveat though.

the last 2 that I have made out of 2" pvc have eventually broken.

Ill be making them from 3" pvc from now on I guess, that pushes the cost up to about $30 worth of pvc I think.

Im very tempted to simply make a "ladder" frame of PT lumber and bevel the 2 high rails and glue turf on them.
