Saw it on PWCYesterday along time ago but cant find it. Does anyone ahve good instructions on how to build a nice stand to keep in the water for when beaching the ski?

I'm looking to either make a PVC one or Possibly buy a real one.....unsure at the moment

If you're concerned with breaking eblows upgrade to SCH 40 PVC (grey) instead of SCH 80 (white). You won't find this at HD, you'll need to go to a plumbing supply store and they are considerably more $ then the 80. Don't do the whole thing in SCH 40, just the important load bearing joints, etc. For the tubing use the SCH 80.

already went and bought the pvc required and made the cuts....

Couldnt afford $100 for AC.

If it breaks, I'll just repair it and give it to my local riding buddy since I've been using one of his shop carts for like a year now

I wish I would have seen this earlier, Jesse. I've got some 3" PVC already pre-fabbed for about four of these stands. I was going to use them around my place, but I got a deal on some aqua carts, so I set these aside. Let me know if you want me to bring one or two to Lanier.

After thinking over costs and relizing a mistake, I'm returning everything but the 3inch pipe(I already cut it) and just buying a scissor stand.

Thanks for the offer chick, we'll talk

What size pipe did you get? If it's 3" we can get you hooked up.

Love my PVC stand. 2" PVC and 2 years old. It is my second one.

Theft proof also, no one ever takes it when left on the beach during ride.

The ACs can sometimes be found on ebay for ~$60 + shipping ($10-12).

If you need it asap, then you will need to pay the bucks for a new one.

they're easy to break though. me and some friends have done a lot of repairs to them. we all used SCH 80 pvc 3". i hydroturfed mine too and drilled some holes through them to let air escape if using it in the water.

if you're careful with it it'll last. don't ride up onto it. the elbows shatter easily.

ive made these stands, my opinion is to make it at least 3inch pvc, and shorten the bunks to 3 feet, glue the **** out of it
