Bottom line, nobody is exhausting more heat than Waterdawg
:haha:
Before we're thru with this thread we're going to have to be "Gas Certified" :sneaky:

Well I guess SFL really is done...
Aluminum just plain kicks ass. That's why Yamaha uses it for impellers too!
With your skilled reasoning I think you should talk to Jeff about introducing a Waterdawg Customs Plastic Impeller.
I bet you would have one in a minute and be talking it up to everybody on here. I can see it now. Look how extreeme it is and how briliant Jeff is for being the first to introduce one. :sneaky:
If it starts to bend, melt or break he can be the first to add exhaust gasses to the pump cavity. With your logic the heat will stiffen it up!:haha:
i didnt feel like paying the an extra $300 for the aluminum exaust
$300 for an aluminum exhaust tube is a ripoff...
pats $90 aluminum exhaust tube...
you get what you pay for.

yes, there are high temp plastics that have a heat range suitable for exhaust applications. unfortunately, abs and pvc do not make the list. if one does choose to use them anyway, one is taking ones chances.
