“Hey it has been a while since I bought it, but wanted to offer up some feedback on the push intake grate.
I originally had it on my 2013 round nose with tubbies and a pro watercraft ride plate, and didn't really like that combo much, it had a ton of chine walk which was annoying, the ski was super stuck to the water and, for me, I didn't think it was particularly predictable cornering.
Then I got a chance to ride a ski set up with this intake grate and a plain vanila flat extended ride plate, and loved it.
So I switched to that, and now I love the thing. Super stable, super hooked up, super predictable, and when I jump a wave it actually feels like it comes out of the water more.
I think the combo of this intake and the pro watercraft plate is not great, at least for me, but now I absolutely love it and it's the best handling combo for a round nose that I have experienced and friends that ride my ski seem to like it too.”
