30 May2013 Big storm heading for Cape Town, the Peninsula and W. Cape this weekend – right through until Tuesday...heavy rain on Sat, Sun, and Monday.
There will be flooding and wind damage in and around Cape Town and the Peninsula and surrounding areas by Sunday & Sunday night. Massive open sea swells coming through too –possibly up to 40 feet (13 metres)– with v.strong NW winds – check the graph below this screen shot. Capetonians had better be prepared for a pounding.
