Pump Tunnel Destroyed

Coupler broke and destroyed the entire tunnel. Is there any links on how to fix? Anyone know anyone close to central California who is proficient in glass work?!!

It really looks more like firewall and driveshaft tube damage to me , it's fixable but that firewall is going to be a bit of work , the tray needs to come out of the ski , it needs to be defoamed and most of the repairs should be done from the inside of the tray area first , then after that is done and the new driveshaft tube is installed move to the outside of the firewall and pump tunnel to finish it up.

I would consider cutting a section out of the firewall from a sitdown ski and grafting it in place , using a big square piece of firewall possibly leaving the driveshaft tube in place and cutting it down to fit the ski , to me that would be way easier than rebuilding that one and installing new inserts , bolt the pump back in with the shims in place and use an alignment tool for the midshaft to center up the replacement firewall piece then glass it in place while jigged up .

It doesn't scare me one bit , I have built brand new pump tunnels in several different skis now as well as made molds for other people so they could repair their pump tunnels .

You have all Winter , it's a good time to learn glass work and the great part is most of the damage on this ski is hidden so it doesn't have to be all that pretty , just strong , to me the actual fairing and finish work on this is minimal on the outside of the ski all you are dealing with is a small place inside of the pump tunnel , and the good part is no one else will ever see it where it is located at.

Glass work seems scary at first but remember it's just like welding , if you don't like the results a grinder will make it all go away in short order , grind it all out and do it again till you like the results.

If you decide to tackle it LMK I might can come up with a firewall section you can use off of another ski , I have tons of dead skis here .

This is awesome! Thanks for the opportunity! My skills are subpar but the project would be a good learning lesson.
I have ridden this ski in a few years my nephews have been the ones riding lately. The only reason I am still holding on to some skis is for my nephews and my kids.
I am not sure how it happened but I am speculating the dampener went out and he kept on riding. The billet couplers must have held together eventually ripping it apart. Pure speculation at this point.
