650/X-2 pump to manifold tube broke

i got a 90' 650, and i have a cooling hose that is attached to the manifold on one end, and about 2" of tube sticking out of the hull on the other end, (i assume this tube leads to the pump).. well, that 2'' that sticks out of the hull broke off flush with the hull.... how would i go about fixing replacing this??? can i drill out this tube on both ends and replace it with something?? whats it look like at the part "inside" the hull that i cant see????? any help would be great.. need to get on the water very soon!..

thanks

I have fixed these before by using a small hole saw inside the pipe that is left and cutting a plug out of the ski, but on a 650SX I would do something much simpler, you have a drain hose coming off the back of the exhaust pipe, that also comes out in the pump cavity, attach your cooling hose to it and swap hoses inside the ski, voila you are done !

Ok if its broken on the inside the fix is slightly different, look on the other side of the bearing housing, you will find another tube with a hose attached to it, that hose is a drain hose for the pipe, take the drain hose off, attach your cooling hose to that pipe, at the pump end of the ski you will see where the pipe comes out at, attach the hose from your pump to that end of the other pipe, now back in the engine bay follow the first hose you took off, it goes backto the pipe, remove that hose and cap the drain with a short piece of the hose, a 10mm bolt and two hose clamps, you be riding phatt in no time flat,

on the other side of the shaft, there are 2 hoses.. one of them (lower) is attatched to the bilge.. and the other on top, is actually capped off.. is this the one i use??
